Langhe Rossese Bianco DOC

Adagio

A still white wine, interpreted by us as an aging wine. Rossese Bianco is a grape variety that has been present in the Langhe since the 1800s. Its tannic structure and acidic backbone make it suitable for aging in the bottle.

Production

Rossese bianco. 50hl per hectare, age of the vines is 5 years.

Vinification and ageing

3 days of maceration on the skins. Fermentation in French oak tonneaux. Aged in wood for 6 months, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.

Colour

Straw yellow.

Fragrance

Citrus, peach and wood notes with balsamic hints.

Flavour

Complex and coherent nose/mouth, with well-present acidity. Tannic and woody aftertaste.
